Before we shoot, we'll build out a mood board together so we're fully aligned on everything from posing to color palette. On shoot day we take our time. No mini-sessions or hurried, nervous posing. My studio sessions start at two hours and can run longer if we're in the middle of something special. We’ll chat, listen to music, experiment with some different angles, and somewhere in there we’ll find some really authentic images.

We’ll shoot up to three different looks and you'll leave with a gallery of 20 to 30 professionally retouched images.

I shoot out of my own studio in San Diego, which means controlled light, a professional environment, and no location fee surprises. Off-site work is also available for concepts that call for it. Pre-production includes a collaborative mood board to lock in creative direction well before we're on set.

I'll give you direction when you need it but my sessions are less about perfect poses and more about catching those little moments of love and laughter between you and the people that matter most to you.

A typical session includes 60 minutes of shoot time in my studio, at your home, or somewhere that holds meaning for your family.
